It is a simple, minimally invasive, painless and quick procedure that gives you months of satisfaction. This has been around for a long time, and we know exactly how to make this treatment right for you! Call us today and see how botox can create a younger looking you!

Q: What is Botox?

A: Botox, or botulinum toxin, is a protein derived from a bacterium. It functions to block the release of a molecule, acetylcholine, used by your nerves to cause a muscle to contract. By inhibiting acetylcholine acting on your muscles, it causes the muscles to relax and not squeeze, which leads to wrinkling in the skin.

Q: Why is botox so popular?

A: Simply put, once you try it you will find out why people love it so much. This treatment, along with proper skin care, are the foundational building blocks of all cosmetic success in patients. It is safe, effective, quick, painless and gives months of results. When performed by the proper cosmetic provider, it gives you the look you are craving

Q: What are the expectations for this procedure?

A: Botox can be performed on the same day as your appointment, it’s that simple. We first due a complete history and physical exam, discuss your goals and expectations, and many times get you started right away. It does take approximately 1-2 weeks to fully “kick in”, which is why we usually schedule a follow-up to check on you and see if you need more. We recommend no strenuous activity the day of the procedure and avoid any other treatment for a couple of days while it is settling in. Mild bruising can occur in areas but tend to go away very quickly.

Q: When are treatments available?

A: Treatments are available Monday thru Friday and one Saturday/month during clinic hours. Our board-certified dermatologist performs the treatments on you. Because of the safety, simplicity and demand for this wonderful treatment, we are proud to offer this to our patients. Call today to learn more about why botox is right for you!
